Artist's Description
During our trip to France we stopped by Marie Antoinette's peasant village close to the Palace of Versailles. I took a photo of this delightful building. Within the village there were pigs and ducks for the enjoyment of visiting students and adults alike.
About Inger Hutton
When I was about 10 years and my brother in law was working on a silk screen of a hand holding a deck of cards. To my surprise he said the hand would be the easiest part. He was following the outer contour of the hand while even then I was seeing the fingerprints, wrinkles and creases. Today more than 50 years later that is still my focus. In the forest, I am the one who is likely to find the delicate mushroom tucked under the log we just stepped over. The beauty in the fine detail of nature is still the focus of my art and I love to reflect that beauty in my art.
