Patty Kay Hall

Patty has been painting since she was twelve years old and had largely been self guided until she went to UCONN, Storrs where she majored in Art History and enrolled in a couple of Studio Art classes. After a twenty year hiatus to raise a family, Patty returned to her artwork with a serious fervor and passion to learn. She currently studies with artists Judith Chapman and Jack Montmeat and has taken workshops with artists Stuart Dunkle, Mikel Wintermantel and Blaney Harris. Influences on Patty's art: "I love the Baroque and the Romantic periods but my favorite is the much underrated Pre-Raphaelite movement. There are so many wonderful movements, each offering their own unique beauty. Sargent, Bougereau and Tissot are all favorites...
