This image is a view of the Gulf of Mexico by looking through a cannon opening in Fort Jefferson at the Dry Tortugas. When this fort was active the soldiers found the views beautiful but the duty was miserable. Heat, insects, disease and lack of water belied the scenic vistas. The fort is located on a small, waterless islands 60 miles of the coast of Key West.
Hi and welcome to my Fine Art Photography website. In these galleries you will find an ever growing portfolio of high quality images and art from places I've been privileged to visit and from around Florida where I have been blessed to live. I have always enjoyed the challenge of capturing what I see and feel. After retiring from my first career it has been a joy to devote myself full-time to many different aspects of photography and digital art. Life is rich in beauty, opportunity and satisfaction which I try to capture and share with you. I love that in this passion there is always room for growth, development, and discovery. The process is exciting, the ultimate goal elusive, so the venture never grows old. Join me and see the ongoing...
