There are many viewpoints from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon on the Arizona side or south rim this one from Hermit View is one of my favorites.... If disabled you can get a pass to use your own car along Hermit Road, otherwise you have to use the Bus service, but it is frequent. You can get off the Bus at one viewpoint, stay as long as you wish, and another will be along soon.

Some of our favorites viewpoints are reached from the South entrance, others on the west side in the Navajo Reservation. Our favorite view points are, from anywhere along Hermit Road to Hermit...
