About the Artist - Nancy Greenland

Nancy Greenland

As is evident from my self portrait, there is a legitimate reason I have chosen photography over other forms of art! My love affair with photography started casually in the late 70s with a nice Nikon FE film camera. A move to digital in 2002 set my passion on fire (and threatened my bank account!). I LOVE the play of light, structure, color, content and humor that can be captured in photographs. If it doesn't bite, spit, scream or sue, I'm going to freeze that moment in time. I consider myself a good sniper, with people as my prime interest. However, most of those photographs must remain private. This is a public gallery. Here's hoping you enjoy my work as much as I enjoyed creating it! Photography has provided a nice balance...
