The love of art started early in life. Some success at art shows with both paintings and photography including shows by the Association of Hawaii Artists where jurors from the faculty of the University of Hawaii Art Department have honored my work. My most meaningful award to date was bestowed by a visiting juror from New Zealand the celebrated impressionist plein air painter Gaston De Vel.
