About the Artist

Zaira Dzhaubaeva

Zaira Dzhaubaeva was born in Cherkessk, Karachay-Cherkessia, Russia. She began to draw when she was about 3 years old. Her first drawings, bunnies, dogs and horses, showed the love of nature that presently manifests itself in her paintings. Zaira studied at the Stavropol State University. There she earned a degree in History and Social Sciences. After graduation she started working at the "Karachay-Cherkessia" State Broadcasting Company in Cherkessk. Zaira worked in Television for 10 years. She began her television career as assistant director and finished it as Chief Director of the TV-studio.
