I have had creative energy all of my life and have expressed it in many different venues. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area but it was after living on the beautiful island of Kauai for a couple of years that I was inspired to start painting. Kauai, the island, the people, the lifestyle changed me forever. I took a few private art lessons and was told by my instructor to "just keep painting" and so I have. I am proud to be a self-taught artist--I have developed my own personal style and technique, painting primarily with oils and acrylics.
