Warm sun shines through the winter willows on the Poudre River, Colorado and melts off fresh spring snow.

Sharon grew up in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire and has a love for the ocean and the New England life. "It calls to me so I try to spend some time painting there, however since 1981 I have called Colorado home and most of my painting comes from the subject matters of the West. I love the crisp bright colors that the dry Colorado air enhances." Sharon is a versatile artist who enjoys working especially en plein air in oil, watercolor and pastelsl. Painting primarily landscapes, she likes to capture mood, the light, and the beauty of what she sees.
