A boat being broken apart in the violent surf and washed out to sea; available in this toned black & white fine art print; 4527
I photographed this beached boat over an extended period of time, in all seasons, and all times of the day and night. It was originally beached on Pea Island on the Outer Banks of North Carolina by a storm. After the remnants or Hurricane Hanna passed over the Outer Banks in September of 2008, the boat was broken up over a 4-day period and taken out to sea the same way it came in. You can find many pictures in this gallery of this beauty in its better days.
