"Watching you" is the first fine art drawing I've made available for purchase. This drawing took approximately 45 hours to complete. I used different types of graphite, from pencil to dust, to create the photo-realistic effect of this drawing. The winter coat took approximately half the time; the pictures for this drawing were taken in late fall.

This particular horse, nicknamed “Harley”, lives locally on a friend's farm. He is a 9 year old Chestnut Docbar, a an professionally trained roping horse. He is currently preparing for the 2007 season.

I started Long Ranch Artworks in November of 2006, just after my recent discovery of this unknown talent. LRA specializes in graphite renderings, capturing a life-like image of primarily western scenes. Although my main focus is Western American culture, I also do renderings for just about anything: family, pets, weddings and so on..... In June of 2006 I began sketching in pen and ink.
