Brilliant Painting!! Wonder why it hasn't sold!? Especially when you compare works like these in oils to the "pop art of the month flavor average art that is out there that is selling for millions. This can drive an artist crazy!

Looks like the way I always imagined Carn from A Magician's Nephew would look. I love the romance and wish I could jump straight in wearing a red gown. Spectacular.

James Hill replied:

Thank you Rachel. I just saw your compliment so I apologize I didn't send a response earlier. Sometimes FAA forgets to let me know about comments. Thank you! :)

Artist's Description

A visual depiction of our future if we continue on a path of greed and corruption. I created this painting that was inspired by, you guessed it, the Palace of Fine Art in San Francisco. No major banker was punished in the slightest that nearly caused the financial collapse of America and the world due to their insatiable greed and "cooking the books". I started painting Ruins not realizing I was painting what was on my mind as a person that watches the Dow Jones and reads the WSJ. I knew the housing bubble would burst and nearly collapse this nation and it did burst, but thanks to some quick thinking, we av...
