Spring's delicate pink blossoms are painted against a softly colored palette of aqua blues, greens, a touch of lavender, and soft earthy browns in my new original impressionist landscape. This painting was created with both brushes and expressive strokes of a palette knife to add interesting textures and mood to the tree and the landscape. Artist acrylic paint with various acrylic mediums were used to paint the landscape on the stretched gallery wrapped canvas.

Expressing the color, light, and many moods of nature, has kept me busy painting and making things since I was a little girl. My deep appreciation and love of nature influences my artwork both in the materials used and my expression of art. I find it intriguing to find older, unique items and give them a second life. Coming up with new designs for my glassware and paintings, or thinking about some new project, are things I love to do.
