Vintage / Antique machineery and gears with texture overlay. This is part of an old loom from Parr, Curtis and Medley in Manchester, 1850. A loom is a device used to weave cloth. The basic purpose of any loom is to hold the warp threads under tension to facilitate the interweaving of the weft threads. The precise shape of the loom and its mechanics may vary, but the basic function is the same. The machine was in use until 1927, and it was woven 600,000 meter cotton fabric on it.

Erik Brede

Surreal and Fine art work from the norwegian photographer and digital artist Erik Brede. Erik Brede is a self-taught photographer and Photoshop artist, born in 1971 in Svolvaer, Lofoten Islands, Norway. After getting his first camera at the age of 13, he spent much of his time in his father's darkroom, and post-production have always been an important part of his workflow. With a conceptual approach, Brede tries to approach a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered way to produce a link between the landscapes reality and that imagined by its conceiver.
