I'm an Army brat. I spent the first half of my life moving every 6 to 12 months from one place or country to the next. I've learned to remember my life by the pictures that remain. My favorite quote from a movie is from Sabrina (the remake), "I think I've been taking pictures all my life, long before I ever got a camera." I love photography. Taking pictures is like breathing for me. I take them in my head if I don't have a camera in my hands. I love the "capturing the moment out of time" factor and then enjoying it long after that moment has passed. If taking pictures for people brings them some joy it just makes the process even more lovely. Pictures are printed treasures for all of us to revel in long after the moments have melted...
