I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.

Artist's Description
Whitby is a fishing port at the mouth of the River Esk on the east coast of England in the county of North Yorkshire. Full of history and interest - the fishing port emerged during the Middle Ages and developed important herring and whaling fleets, and was where Captain Cook (discovered Australia) learned seamanship. Tourism started in Whitby in Georgian times and developed with the coming of the railway in 1839. On the windy cliff above the town are the ruins of Whitby Abbey where Caedmon, the earliest English poet, lived. Parts of Bram Stokers novel Dracula are set around the town and Abbey.

Thank you for visiting! I was born in the UK, and moved to the USA in 2001. I now live in south-west Colorado, my husband's home State, and enjoy the pace of small town life. We are kept busy with our three dogs, the vegetable garden, a Farmers' Market, and raising sheep - finding time for painting & photography can be difficult sometimes! I hope you enjoy my work.

I have found memories of Whitby that your "lifelike" drawing brought back. I particularly like the rendition of the higgledy-piggledy houses and the sea..

If only I could draw like this! Well done Shirley, I have many happy memories of Whitby, such a quaint and interesting place, mostly untouched by the hand of commercialism that many seaside towns were blighted by. Voted and admired :)
