I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Traditionally painted on walls on cowdung and red mud background with rice flour paste by women, Warli paintings are expressions of many motifs, daily and social events of this largest tribe in Maharashtra state of India residing 150 kms from Mumbai.
This painting shows a dancing peacock. Though monochromatic, the white fine lines along with a dark background are highlighting the pattern of feathers. A simple delicate border helps you focus on the beauty of this national bird of India!
Peacock represents beauty, royalty,dignity and immortality, pride and most importantly, love. It is the symbol of Goddesses Juno and Hera and of St. Barbara. In India, it is associated with Goddess Saraswati- the goddess of knowledge and Lord Shri Krishna.
