Great professional work. Thanks
Walking along a rural road in central Florida, I came upon a few abandoned buildings that were once part of a small town. A few miles down the road the big box stores have drawn the shoppers, leaving only the old signs to tell us what once existed here.
As a designer, I try to find the little twist that sparks a connection, a wave of delight. When not otherwise occupied with developing brands, logos, packaging and trade show displays, I travel with my artist husband in search of inspiration. Many of the photos are from my home state of Wisconsin and from Spain and Peru. Wherever we go, the camera is in my hand, capturing the little things that inspire awe or make me smile. And because I love to tinker, I often play in Photoshop to create unique results. Excellent shot. It's sad to think that with the disappearance of places like this small towns just become places to sleep.
Mary Machare replied:
Thank you, Odd. Your comment is right on... there was a sense sadness at the ending of this small town and the stories that were a part of it.
