About the Image

Who's The Master? by TM Rhyno

Here's a piece I just finished up last night (04/25/13) for an art show dedicated to the moving picture. I always liked Sho Nuff from The Last Dragon. I know in traditonal story telling the good guy usually wins. I mean, everyone loves when the hero saves the day. But I always thought in the real world, Sho Nuff would have kicked Leroy's a$$....and so I identified more with his character than Leroy's. Anyways, everyone remembers that iconic last fight scene (hopefully everyone of a certain age). This is my favorite part when Sho Nuff charges up his hands and get's ready to lay the smack down on Leroy Green. Who's the master??!!

About the Artist - TM Rhyno

TM Rhyno

About Me: I've been drawing and painting since I was a little kid. Probably 4 or 5 years old, like many of you. I always knew I was an artist to some degree. Not because of my work but because of the way I would feel while doing it. Peaceful and calm. Creating art is my church, literally. Time stops, all the wrongs of the world dissolve and it's just me going through the motions one pencil or brush stroke at a time. I know a lot of you other artists can relate and don't need me to really explain any of it. I was born in Texas, raised in Massachusetts, eductated (formally) in San Francisco and now reside back in Texas not too far from where my story began back in 1977. I work a day job as a graphics / packaging designer and freelance...
