About the Image

Wild and Free Detail by Dawn Senior-Trask

This is a detail of the previous image. One of my earliest bronzes, "Wild and Free" represents many teenage years and miles of searching the creek banks for tracks of wild animals who had come to drink during the night. About the Artist - Dawn Senior-Trask

Dawn Senior-Trask

I have been an artist since I was knee high to a short-horned locust. My dad, Willoughby Senior (FAA) was a professional artist and writer and I have stepped in his shoes since I was born, though he drew horses better than I did when I was a kid. My work is driven by the land, animals, wild plants and birds I have come to know so well. Hummingbirds still try to get nectar from my upturned fingers. My artwork consists of all these things and more...
