Dawn's home in the Cedar Breaks is so full of life of all sizes and descriptions, that even though she has sketched the wild flowers, butterflies, insects, grasses, and all manner of small creatures her entire life, every season she finds something new to surprise her. My work is driven by the land, animals, wild plants and birds I have come to know so well. Hummingbirds still try to get nectar from my upturned fingers.
