Situated on a rocky peninsula on the Black Sea, Nessebar is one of the major seaside resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. However, it becomes reminiscent of a ghost town during the cold winter months.
Nessebar is a rich city-museum defined by more than 3,000 years of ever-changing history.
The ancient town of Nessebar is included in the list of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.
