Artist's Description
This painting was inspired by winter color on the Deschutes River in Central Oregon. The red foliage reflecting in the water provided a spark of warmth in the cold water of the river. Hiking the River Trail is wonderful year around, but a special treat in winter when the crowds are low. If you are especially adventurous, take the trail on a mountain bike.
The original painting was created on an 8x10 inch stretched canvas with professional grade oil paints. It now makes its home with a buyer from Massachusetts.
I've been selling originals and reproductions of my work online since 2007. People all over the world have purchased my art and it is wonderful to connect with so many.
