Chad Dutson is a wilderness photographer who occasionally ventures into fine art portraiture. He strives to capture the finest nature scenes possible, frequently taking adventures to extreme levels to capture "the shot." He has experienced hypothermia, been stung by a scorpion, waited for hours in twenty degree (20F/-7C) temperatures, nearly stepped on a rattlesnake, and stood for hours under pelting rain through a lightning storm.
"Some say they lose themselves in one thing or another; however I find myself through photography, losing only the sense of time. I frequently shoot from sunset to sunrise. Photography brings out the passion I feel for both nature and humanity." -- Chad Dutson
