My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description
In the mountains of the Laurel Highlands, a tall, snowy evergreen tree greets a new winter's day. Soon the adventuresome will be making their way up the mountain to pull on their boots and strap on their skis and boards and enjoy the speed and sense of freedom that Blue Knob's trails and slopes provide. Pennsylvania's highest skiable mountain, Blue Knob All Seasons Resort is located in Claysburg, PA, between Altoona and Bedford.
Image hand-painted, digitally, and very loosely based on one of my own photos which I took in my garden a few years ago. Lots of creative license taken. Painted in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet, the art pen, and lots of beautiful brushes.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag.

About Lois Bryan
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a glitch in our system. The images in...

Pure elegance - Winter through the warmth of our memories.... Voted : ) All the best in the New Year, Lois F/L
Lois Bryan replied:
Thank you so much, Maria. The light does such crazy things up there. I can't begin to pretend that this is a true representation of what I saw that day ... but I tell you, I've seen some amazing light on top of that mountain. It may be brief ... only minutes or seconds ... but it can be breathtaking. Glad you liked my interpretation!!
