A pen and ink illustration of the Wrigley Field marquee in Chicago. This illustration was created from a photograph taken by me in 1987. Lights still had not been installed at Wrigley. The first night game was played in August of 1988.
I have always been able to draw well. I am a self-taught artist and my early illustrations were highly detailed drawings done in pencil on paper. Over the years, I found that pen and ink illustrations drawn on Crescent or Bainbridge illustration board are what I do best. Trains and railroading are of special interest to me. But, I also enjoy drawing people, buildings, and animals. So, here are some for viewing and purchasing. I can also take special orders on something you would like illustrated. As always, there will be more to follow in the near future.
Thanks for checking them out.
