Nothing can be finer then writing to a love one, in a very old fashioned way - with paper. There really once was a time when something called paper was used. They made it with wood, if you can believe it. Using your hand and a device that held ink in some way, in a particular motion let out a stream of curved lines. Arranged in a certain way formed what we used to call calligraphy. It was very doubtful that you would use a quill and scribe LOL.
