Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

This was inspired by a black and white photograph I saw of the men on a Harlem, N.Y. rooftop while they were at a party. I was impressed by the names and by the dignity of their countenance. Langston Hughes, Charles S. Johnson, E. Franklin Frazier, Rudolph Fisher and Hubert Delany overlooking St. Nicholas Avenue in Harlem in the 1920s. Photo via the Schomburg Center. I saw a postcard of the photo in college and decided to work on a largescale painting that took a few years to complete.
Joyce Owens Biography Owens recently was commissioned by the landmark Blackstone Hotel in Chicago. She was commissioned by two patrons for "Not Just nother Pretty Face" at the Hyde Park Art Center in 2017. She has exhibited her work in Turin, Italy and has been included in the Arts In Embassies Program in Stockholm, Sweden, Mbabane, Swaziland, NATO, in Brussels, Belgium, Monrovia, Liberia and Guyana. The traveling exhibition, "Chicago Artists Interpret Shakespeare: As They Like It" opened Oct. 1, 2016 at the Fourth Presbyterian Church on Michigan Ave. in Chicago, IL., and has been presented at the Beverly Arts Center in Chicago, Carthage College in Wisconsin and Bowling Green University in Ohio.
