I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

If I have a quest I guess it is to somehow capture a particular moment or feeling in whatever media suites the occasion and leave enough out so there are still discoveries each time. I mostly work in acrylics but love the adventure of multi media with occasional injections of charcoal, paper and thick acrylic concoctions to maximise on the contrasts possible between sweet and gnarly or opaque and transvibrant. Painting for me needs to be like life, a strong colorful homebase with constant adventure and a healthy dose of uncertainty and surprises. I love getting lost in the process so far that I scare myself into the possibility of not resurfacing and then I do. Sometimes triumphantly sometimes not; but always with a new insite and...
