A beautiful printed card I will frame. Susie is a versatile artist and I always enjoy her art.

I love the artist and usually purchase her originals or prints and have been extremely satisfied with them, but this original and some others were sold so I purchased cards to frame. I have to comment that this card was a little dark and if it could be lightened a little, it would better represent the artwork. The artist is one of my favorites.

Artist's Description
Image of a man fishing at Wye Mills on Christmas Eve, 2015. Although overcast, the weather was warm and still for that time of year. The stream pictured here derives from a spill from a lake on the other side of the hill. I decided to try and create a painterly effect using Photoshop and FotoSketcher software for artistic enhancement. Textures were also used along with a very slight vignette.

About Brian Wallace
I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas. Each time I think I've reached a peak, I find myself crossing another threshold that challenges my abilities and talents while paving way to another plateau.
