About the Image

XIII by Juli Scalzi

Like Jason Bourne in The Bourne Identity, XIII is a trained fighting machine whose main characteristic is a failing memory. While seeking to discover his concealed past, he stumbles from one adventure to another. The exciting plots of this monumnet of realistic action comic strips are by Jean Van Hamme and the drawings by William Vance. The comic series was first published in 1984 in Spirou magazine. XIII is part of my "Comic Strip Route" Gallery. Check it out for more photos and information.
