Yosemite Valley and Yosemite falls is viewed by more than 3 million people every year. Most of those people visit the park during the spring, summer and fall, while relatively few visit during the winter.
Winter time brings out some of the most dramaitic lighting and adverse weather conditions. It can be cold, snowy, rainy or warm and sunny all depending on what is blowing in off of the Pacific 4 to 8 hours earlier.
Yosemite Falls is the tallest waterfall in the park and in North America. The upper falls as viewed here is 1,430 feet tall with a total of 2, 425 feet from top to bottom.
This image was taken during unsettled weather early in the morning as a storm had moved through the valley hours earlier. The temperature was cold...
Thank you for taking your time to visit my galleries. I'm a photographer that makes his home in Northern California. I love getting out shooting the outstanding scenery that this area has to offer. I may be in Yosemite one weekend and the Napa wine country the next. I try not to set limits on where, when or what I shoot.
I've been shooting photography now for roughly six years and am learning something new everytime I go out. If you see anything you like please leave a comment, I'll try my best to acknowledge it. If you have any suggestions please feel free to share them.
Eventually I plan on branching out to children and pets.
Please come back often as I am continously adding new work.
If you see work that you like...
