This artwork is dedicated to You.

We all see images that remind of special people, places and things, near and dear in our hearts. When I see palm trees I think of a brother living in South Florida. Trains remind me of my Grandfather who was a RR Engineer for 50 years. Flower gardens remind me of my brother's passion for all growing things.

In this artwork, because of my fondness for the color Orange, I see Myself in the Tiger Lilies standing tall in the background with bowed heads. And, I see You in the coneflowers, crowned with a monarch butterfly, offering a welcoming respite for stopping friends.

If my artwork has touched you in a unique way, then, it's “You” I am speaking to.

Doug Kreuger, Landscape Artist Member of Oil Painters of America Doug was born in, Aberdeen, South Dakota, and grew up in Hazel Crest, Illinois. From early childhood, Doug demonstrated a strong interest in drawing, painting, and building things. Throughout his school years, Doug excelled in all his art classes, winning numerous awards and recognition for his artistic abilities. 

Upon graduating from high school, Doug became a student at The American Academy of Art, Chicago, where he studied commercial graphics, life drawing and watercolors.
