I did this in a class during the fall of 2010 and never thought to post it until now. This picture has new meaning to me since I have been recently visited by a deer on my property. This deer seems to appear just when I need reminding that I am not ever alone in God's country.The art instructor wanted us to draw the image of the deer and then I wanted to personalize it by adding the top and bottom portion to create a triptych design. The snow scene is from my minds eye. It became my Christmas card that year.

God's world around me, it's people, my loved ones, my dear friends, other artists, teachers, music, poetry, stories, other cultures, nature, my "special need" animals I care for, these are just the tip of what inspires me to create works of art. I believe my art is a venue my Creator gave me to share expressions from my heart and soul.
