When I was a child we used to chase lizards, like the one on this path, and collect them in our plastic buckets. Then we would bring them home and let them loose in our garden. They would last several months before disappearing. Probably hitched a ride (In a Volkswagen Van) back to Zuma. The San Fernando Valley was way too hot..
