Born in Worcester UK in 1951, Cynthia had a tin of paints in her Christmas stocking from a very early age. She maintained an interest in Art and Calligraphy; producing Christmas and Birthday cards and Special Banners when someone was getting married or leaving their jobs.
Cynthia went to evening college to brush up her skills, which is where she discovered Encaustic Art. This method was the start of her journey back into the wonderful world of creativity at the grand old age of 44.
For several years she showed at craft shows, and other exhibitions but was still looking for a totally personal style. A chance encounter with the work of a practicing artist led her to the colourful and vibrant style she now adopts. The works in this collection are based entirely on her imagination.
Since beginning to sell on the internet, she has achieved sales in Europe, The United States as well as the UK .
Cynthia says, “Every piece I create is from my heart. There is nothing I like better than allowing my heart to rule my paintbrushes, allowing them to go wherever they choose. Peace, Tranquility and Serenity is what I try to achieve”.
Each of Cynthia’s paintings is unique, never to be repeated.
