Dave Olsen - Photographer
My love of photography started 47 years ago at age 10 when my folks gave me an old hand me down Black & White 110 camera. I would have to save my allowance to afford to develop my photos every few weeks which limited the amount of pictures I could afford to develop. At this same time I was introduced to a professional photographer while we lived on the island of Bermuda and I was inspired to practice the skills he shared with me during my brief meeting. Since that time I have always had the desire to hone my photography skills and knowledge. I have used my photography skills while working for a newspaper in Lake Tahoe, working 32 years with the fire service, and for a multiple listing real estate service. Several photos of mine have even been published with the (AP) Associated Press news service and seen across the country. Most recently I have been working on building a retirement business taking real estate photos for realtors and homeowners. The sales of my photographs support my photography habit and desire for new equipment and education.
My first love is to shoot nature and landscape photography. I love to try to catch the 'Moment' that inspires me to take a photograph. Now that I have retired from the fire service I am dedicating my time traveling the country and capturing as many beautiful images as possible. I sincerely hope you get as much enjoyment out of the images I have captured and take pride in displaying them in your home for many years to come! Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions regarding the images you have seen of mine or have a special photography request.
