About Dianna Jackson

My love for photography began with the Super Moon. I canít stop clicking away after that mystical encounter on 5/5/2012.

I am retired and live in a small college town and farming community in southeast Georgia where cotton is King.

My little Nikon coolpix and I have become very familiar with the cotton field located behind my home, this being a great location for landscape photos. When the cotton starting blooming in late July, I noticed these beautiful flowers popping up throughout the field. The natural beauty of these blooms, as they develop, is quite amazing. They have so many different sizes, shapes, forms, twists and turns during their brief life on earth. I have been capturing photos of the different stages of development for several months and will be sharing a few for your consideration.

During the 2012 Tropical Storm season the east coast had it share of storms and I found myself spending plenty of time outdoors, capturing photos of these cloud formations, as they were moving up and down the coast of Georgia. A few of these photos and others will also be listed for your consideration.
