Born and raised in Schenectady, N.Y. to two trained fine artists who met at Syracuse University (where I graduated as well). I started drawing as soon as I could hold a crayon and brush. It was a good life and I feel very fortunate to have been raised in such an artistic atmosphere. Dad was listed in Who Was Who in American Art, worked as an art director at General Electric, taught at the local museum, and occasionally taught classes with my mother, also an accomplished fine artist in our home.
Today I'm married, live in Mulberry, Florida, have a grown son, grand kids, live on a tiny lake where egrets and cranes fly by and feel very blessed. I make a living from my designs on products sold by Cafe Press and Zazzle but with a conservative estimate of 20 million designs being uploaded every year, I'm branching out here at Fine Arts America. I'm also resuming doing my handcrafted items and posting them over at Etsy (HeartBridge.Etsy.com) - hammered wire jewelry, filigree and crystal jewelry (still to post), hand painted t-shirts, dog breed scenic ornaments and whatever craft grabs my attention. I love them all and am fascinated to try new mediums and techniques.
The goal and current endeavor is to post my top selling designs here on FAA, including designs from my Masterpiece Dogs series where I have inserted over 100 dog breeds (+ cat breeds and other pets) into some of the most loved masterpieces in the world including Van Gogh's Starry Night and Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa as well as some of Moent's water lily paintings and J. W. Waterhouses romantic masterpieces.
