Jim Cook Wins Spot In Middlebury Vermont Gallery For His Who Am I Image

Dallas, PA - July 8th, 2016

Juror’s Statement: In my capacity as editor of Black & White magazine, I am constantly judging images, not only for publication in our regular issues, but also for our Portfolio and Single Image Contest issues. Artist Jim Cook Was Featured In Scenic USA

Tunkhannock, PA - November 19th, 2012

Driving home from work I noticed this hot air balloon some distance from where it is in the frame. I was able to park car and rush back to the bridge where I set up my tripod and began shooting. This hot air balloon flying silently over the Susquehanna River caused more than a few heads to turn as it was visible to most folks here in Tunkhannock Pennsylvania U.S.A. Tunkhannock is a river community (West Branch of the Susquehanna River) in the Wyoming Valley of Northeast Pennsylvania. The name Tunkhannock is an Indian (Lenape) name meaning either "extensive meadows or narrow stream" depending on your source.
