I am a teacher, writer, artist and missionary. I have served in the Marshall Islands, Bolivia, and Peru since 1989 as a full-time missionary. I opened three Bible Institutes. We have promoted feeding centers and orphanages in foreign countries also. I have taken up photography as a hobby along with writing and art since I returned to the U.S. in 2012. My wife, Mariesa, is a registered nurse and now retired. Much of my photography was done in foreign countries. Many of the drawings were also done in the Marshall Islands, Bolivia, and Peru. Since I am part Native American (Cherokee and Creek), I have included some of my drawings of Native Americans. I am an award winning artist with art also displayed at the museum in the Marshall Islands. I have instructed at the John C.Campbell Folk School in North Carolina. My wife and I lived in Cherokee County, North Carolina near 2 of our 3 daughters last year but we have now moved to live in Graham, North Carolina near Greensboro. We have 9 beautiful grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
