Biography - Michael H. Cranford - Born 1964 - Still a child.
Living in Costa Rica as an artist, painting surrealistic, realism and wildlife environmental paintings, I try to convey messages of responsibility, preservation and conservation in many of my paintings. Much of my surreal art and paintings are very political. Usually depicting something a bit dark about our throw away culture , however offering a Disney finish if look hard enough. Good ole Walt Disney and MC Escher are two of my childhood artists I grew up and studied. I raised two boys, lived in Colorado most of my adult life and now I live in the rainforest in Southern Costa Rica. i also rent a studio in Cape Cod Massachusetts, on The lower Cape in Truro, just a few miles from all the art galleries in Cape Cod. This art gallery is much better as it is an On Line Art Gallery with originals, prints and posters available for purchase and art for sale. My Costa Rica studio can also be rented during the year, and I dabble in treehouses a bit just for hobby.
