Artist Richard Ozanne has works that have been exhibited in New York at Abney Galleries, Ariel Galleries, The New York Palladium, Nancy Stein Galleries, National Arts and the Salmagundi Clubs as well as other noted galleries and organizations. In addition to this Mr. Ozanne has exhibited in Europe as well as New Zealand and Japan in solo and group shows. In 2006 he was the recipiant of the International Trophy of Art in Europe at a prestigious competition spotlighting some of the worlds leading artists and vetted by some of the leading art critics of Italy.
Mr. Ozanne has a dynamic educational background that has earned him honors in many countries. He has his BFA from the University of Arizona and worked for 4 years in post graduate study in New York City at the Art Students League and Columbia University. He received his MFA Masters of Fine Arts from Arizona State University and continued on a rigorous course of study to receive his Phd in Art (with research in Europe), his dissertation being on areas of color, the electromagnetic spectrum and perceptions not covered in conventional sourcebooks on color phenomenon. Mr. Ozanne studied in France with Gustave Nebel and in Italy as well. Early in his career he was invited to Russia and China by their cultural ministries and has visited many countries since.
During the period of 1997-2006 the artist Ozanne resided in Prague Czech Republic and Italy, teaching and painting the landscapes, compositions and portraits which represented the landscapes and cultures.
