I am a professional press photographer and also enjoy producing artistic photographic images outside of my day-to-day work.
My life has been devoted to photography, taking an interest from a very young age and then working in the news media since 1982.
Over the last few years, I have become proficient in all aspects of digital photography and greatly enjoy using modern imaging methods to produce striking and original works.
I live in Brisbane, Australia and mainly exhibit in my local area, although recently I had two pieces displayed at the 2012 Salon de la Photo in Paris and look forward to extending my audience further in the future.
As well as my original work here, I have over 100 historic images from the American Library of Congress, which I have enhanced using the most up to date methods, yielding amazing and beautiful images which are a delight to see. Please take a look and be sure to use the zoom tool to see the extraordinary detail. I will be adding more interesting images to this gallery as I find them, too.
I aim to produce a variety of works to appeal to a wide range of tastes. I am always delighted to receive comments, so feel free to write and click on the link above to receive email updates on the latest news.
I am the author of the book Paths to Artistic Imaging in Photoshop, ISBN-13: 978-0987574602, which details many of the methods that I use to produce my work. It is available from my website (below) or eBay for those in Australia and Canada and from Amazon US for other countries.
