Scott Hansen's core belief structure tells him that while ‘all things are one,’ we also live immersed in the many. Thus, Scott Hansen never shy's away from high contrast photographs, indeed he embrace them. As we transcend duality in ourselves, so Scott Hansen's fascination continually attempts to find and show just a peek of the oneness of duality. Scott Hansen uses HDR imaging to overcome the limitations of traditional photography, of the single exposure (high dynamic range imaging)… How can a single exposure capture all the subtleties of reality?

Very Important!!! All images posted at this site are .jpg. Due to size limitations, .tif files cannot be used herein. Please contact Scott Hansen (me) for museum quality prints from .tif's which sport about three times the resolution of .jpg images. This is critical for sizes starting at 24X36 inches. I also use Duraplaq mounts for the best glass-free display medium available!

Likewise, if you find a photo pleasing, but lacking something you are looking for, please let Scott know, as with many of his images, Scott has alternate images with different perspectives. A few images are completely unique, but I usually shoot from 3 to 20 exposures of the same scene...
