I use my photography to capture the mystery and the beauty of the Wisconsin outdoors. I look for opportunities that speak to the peacefulness of landscapes and nature, whether it is a sunrise mixed with color, a foggy morning stroll through woodlands, an abandoned building or birds and animals surviving in their own habitat.
It takes me to places both physically and mentally that most people never experience. It calms my soul and allows me to capture scenes that evoke the emotional response associated with wonder and tranquility.
I am inspired by quiet places where the only sounds come from wind blowing through the trees, water rolling up on to lake shores and the nature calls of woodland birds.
I am a landscape and wildlife photographer. I use my photography to touch a memory of places that one may have looked at but did not realize the beauty that existed.
I use Canon digital cameras. Many of my landscapes are produced from multiple exposures that are blended together to create a high dynamic range photograph. My wildlife shots are built on patience and the knowledge of their routines.
