My name is Mark and I am a born and bred Dubliner. I became interested in photography due to a fascination with my Grandfathers SLR when I was a child. It was a Yashica FXD and I still have it to this day. I started out into the DSLR world with a Nikon D50 which I then upgraded to a D200 after 5 years and 5 years later I have just purchased a D7000.
By far the best decision I ever made photographically was to join Malahide Camera Club which has helped me improve immensely.
I like to photograph anything and everything. I do a lot of portrait work but I also like to experiment with Macro, Infra Red, HDR and Abstract stuff.
