I first thank and acknowledge God for his love that saves and heals us every day during hard times, without God......without love I would not be alive. I unexpectedly discovered my love for art In elementary school after a drawing of 'Hey Arnold' on a skateboard, I was surprised at how accurate my drawing was and automatically became interested to want to know how to create more. I was really surprised and excited that there was something I could do because I always thought that I had no special talent or gift and was of no use for anything. So being uplifted and fully aware of this I continued to draw, which not only led me to painting and doing other forms of art but also grew in me the burning desire and determination to want to do better. Seeing more and more of this colorful creativity led me to the decision of wanting to be an artist, even though at the time I didn't know what type of artist to be and that there were many different types, I just wanted to be a part of it. I work with acrylics and enjoy expressing myself through colors while being Intuitive and spontaneous with my work and with any other creative hobbies I enjoy, my paintings is also a way of me expressing the abstract mind that formed in my dreams during my constant escape and Isolation from depression, bullying, rejection and being alone. Please note I'm not a professional, though I still try to be but until then most of my work here by some will look ' amateurish', 'not well thought of' or 'lacking passion' whatever you call it. I'm just here to share and display my work to show others what I can do in hopes someone likes them, if so then I thank you for you're interest and for any purchases you make, It really means a lot to me and please excuse my poor grammar. GlitzdaleArt was originally thought of as a title for a fairy-tale story I came up with when I created a blog during a summer job back in 2008, since then the name just stuck with me all these years and decided to use it to represent the creative hobbies and interests I like (though to some my art doesn't seem like stories). My artwork represents an abstract story that is versatile for the viewer to also create their own, it's a story I can only tell and translate through colors and through abstract form.....because my stories are lucid with no ending that doesn't make sense. Please excuse me if my 'artist statement' or explanation of my art isn't clear enough or understandable to you, I never knew how to explain my art and this is the best way I know how.
