Michael Magnus Price has been creating art since he was a small boy, drawing early inspiration from his mother. He later studied art for 4 years finishing his studies at George Brown College in Toronto.
His style is inspired by the Regina Five, especially the mandalas of Art McKay and Ansel Adams but also from his travels around the world.
'I want to create art that I feel good about and that brightens peoples lives and their homes'.
Michael's work can be found in many public buildings in the Yukon and at the Yukon Art Society Galleries in Whitehorse, as well as different private collections.
Asked why he signs his works with the name Magnus he says it is in tribute to his late grandfather.
Michael has lived in all but two of Canada's provinces and currently resides in Saskatchewan, Canada.
