I'm a Pittsburgh Artist, who loves to paint and photograph wildlife. Actually, I love all art mediums, but the Photos and the paintings are what you'll see on this site. Most of the wildlife is from my backyard. I live near a wooded area so I 'm frequently visited by Wild Turkeys,Squirrels, Deer, Woodpeckers and Bluejays, Red tailed hawks and groundhogs.. not to mention the chipmunks. My first little friend was a chickadee who always sang greatfully when I put out seed in the mornings. Then the bluejays came and demanded peanuts. I once had a squirrel touch my hand with his paw to take a nut from me. Most unbelievable experience! The deer love pears and apples and even bring their babies close to me. I feel honored that they feel safe enough to eat in my presence .
My experience in Art started at The Carnegie Museum in Oakland in the late 1970's. There ,I met Mr. Joseph Fitzpatirck at the Tam-O-Shanter Saturday morning Art classes and was mesmerized at what he could do. Much later I received an Associates of Science -Commercial Art & Design Degree at Community College of Allegheny County. I've shown my paintings at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and at Studio Z Gallery.
I have won best of show in Photography at The Steel Valley Arts Festival, and have painted a mural for the West Homestead Firemen. I'm also a certified portrait photographer.
I am a proud mother of three wonderful adult kids and so far one spectacular Granddaughter. Please email me if you have any questions or requests.
